Leather Handle
The Brown handle on the Serrated USMC KA-BAR® Combat Knife by KA-BAR® Knives is made from leather. The leather is a reliable material that has been used since KA-BAR®s origin.
KA-BAR's famous oval-shaped leather handle construction is accomplished by compressing leather washers on to the tang, shaping and coloring them, and then fastening them on with a pinned-on butt cap.
1095 Cro-Van Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the Serrated USMC KA-BAR® Combat Knife by KA-BAR® Knives is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Clip Point shaped blade is 7 inches long and is stamped with USMC.
With its partially serrated edge, the Serrated USMC KA-BAR® Combat Knife by KA-BAR® Knives is perfect for cutting looped and synthetic materials.
Brown Leather Sheath
Included with the Serrated USMC KA-BAR® Combat Knife by KA-BAR® Knives is a Brown Leather sheath with KA-BAR, USMC and "USMC" Logo stamped on it.This sheath Fits KA-BARS with a 7-inch blade and double guard.This Brown Leather sheath is made in Mexico.
