Maxpedition®’s Falcon II™ Backpack is the quintessential Maxpedition® product being durable, ergonomic, and intelligently designed. This medium bodied pack is thoroughly constructed with 1050-Denier water and abrasion resistant nylon; yet its ergonomic shape, padded shoulder straps and sturdy sternum and waist support make it an absolute delight to wear.

Further examination will reveal that the Falcon II has layered independent compartments with more pockets, pouches and PALS attachment points than most backpacks twice its size. Pull the dual-directional YKK® zippers and expand the main compartment into a full clamshell opening.

You'll find that the Falcon II is surprisingly spacious with room to accommodate your camping essentials and two (2) 100oz/3L water reservoirs. Pack it up and press it down with front & side compression straps, then head out on a hike or overnight with a premium Maxpedition backpack.

Solid bag for almost any application

This bag is an amazing bag, it's incredibly durable, comfortable, and well designed. I use this bag for my EDC and it's a very solid choice. Highly customizable and highly organized, the clam shell main compartment is very helpful in organizing it for a day pack or overnight bag. It keeps all my gear easily accessible and secure. It's large enough to be a daybag, but too small for a go-bag or bug out bag. It makes a great edc backpack or get home bag for your car.

The only issues I have with the bag is the cargo straps on the bottom. I have modified mine to have parachute buckles instead of the slip type tension straps it comes with. Makes carrying a blanket, tarp, or jacket much easier.

Also I highly recommend purchasing a water bottle holder and tac-ties with the bag, since it does not come with a built in pouch like most Maxpedition bags.

All in All, very happy with the quality of this bag and I would highly recommend it.
