The purpose of Chinook’s Base Bivy is simple, to provide affordable, waterproof protection in a very compact and lightweight package. A practical addition to any pack when potential foul weather is a concern. Made from waterproof nylon fabric with a 3000 mm polyurethane waterproof coating the Base Bivy also features factory-taped seams making this bivouac completely waterproof. The Base Bivy features a contoured hood and comfortable roomy footbox and includes a stuff sack.
