The genuine UMSC issue 13 ¼ inch bayonet features an 8 inch proprietary clip point carbon steel blade and is packed full of features including a phosphate non-reflective finish and the USMC Logo stamped onto the Dynaflex® ergonomically grooved handle.
The ergonomic design of the handle is designed to reduce hand fatigue with positioning access point for quick redirect of positioning of blade in reduced visibility situations. In addition, the full tang blade has 1 ¾ inch mission serration.
The scabbard is made with a low noise signature polyester elastomer and features a ceramic-coated aluminum honing rod located on the back. The scabbard is fitted with an internal stainless steel spring friction device at throat of the scabbard to secure the bayonet. The scabbard is equipped with two load bearing attaching straps with cross straps, which allows for variations of placement on the load bearing equipment.
Designed to fit the M-16, M-4 or C-7 Rifle, the USMC bayonet is US made.

The Brown handle on the OKC3S US Marine Bayonet - Genuine Issue - Ontario Knife Company is made from Dynaflex® which has superior colourfastness.
1095 Carbon Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the OKC 3S US Marine Bayonet is made from 1095 Carbon Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 Carbon steel ensures durability and excellent edge retention. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 53-58, this Clip Point shaped blade is 8 inches long and is printed with COMBAT USMC.
Field sharpening the OKC 3S is easy with its sharpened edge.
Tan Glass Filled Nylon Sheath
Included with the OKC3S US Marine Bayonet is a Tan Glass Filled Nylon MOLLE Compatible sheath. The back of the scabbard between it and the PALS webbing is a honing rod. The honing rod is accessed by pulling back on the elasticised webbing on the end of the scabbard, releasing its bottom and then swinging the scabbard upward.
