The Potbelly™ is a hard working knife that no camper or adventure trekker should be without. With some influence from the kukri and machete, the Potbelly™ is best described as what you get if you crossed a scalpel and a sledgehammer.
The Brown handle on the Johnson Adventure™ Potbelly™ by KA-BAR® is made from GFN-PA66. GFN-PA66 is an extremely strong and durable glass reinforced nylon.
The Fixed Blade on the Johnson Adventure™ Potbelly™ by KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Chopper shaped blade is 7.125 inches long and is stamped with KA-BAR/JAB.
Field sharpening the Johnson Adventure™ Potbelly™ by KA-BAR® is easy with its sharpened edge.
Included with the Johnson Adventure™ Potbelly™ by KA-BAR® is a Khaki Heavy Duty Polyester sheath. Additional Features of this sheath includes an external Pouch. This Khaki Heavy Duty Polyester sheath is made in China.
