Made of super tough aircraft aluminum, the BoglerCo UL Trowel is the end all be all when it comes to backpacking trowels.
Use the palm of your hand to push the trowel into the ground. The plastic end cap cushions your palm as you apply force. A proper cat‑hole is about 7 inches deep, the same length as this tool.
Push backwards on the handle to dig up soil. Never push forward on the back of the handle to pry. The trowel is strong for its weight, but most of its strength comes from its bent shape, so avoid warping or flattening it.
Use the serrated edges to cut through roots. The thin edge cuts cleanly through turf and small roots, while the serrated edges slice larger ones.
Fill in and hide your hole when finished. Always remember to Leave No Trace.
