The Buck Alpha Scout Elite is upgraded to include MagnaCut steel and a black machine-textured G10 handle. A knife built for the rigors of hunting, the Alpha Scout is the perfect knife for detailed work on large-game or to process whitetail or small-game. The high-panel flat grind adds strength to the blade and the jimping on top of the blade improves grip and increases control when using different grips on the knife for detailed work. The textured handle gives you a trusted grip, even in wet conditions. Includes a lanyard hole and an imported Kydex sheath with belt attachment. Knives made in the USA.
Imported Kydex sheath includes: Black sheath with silver rivets, locking belt loop, adapter plate, and hardware.
Kydex sheaths are form-fitted to your knife and will have a very tight fit initially. The sheath will break in and loosen up a bit, but should still securely hold your knife. It is normal to see plastic shavings after the first few uses. Sheath is compatible with Teklok.
What is MagnaCut? MagnaCut is an exotic, powder metallurgy stainless steel. It has excellent toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance, striking a balance between all of the properties that make a high-performance steel. MagnaCut does not have any performance tradeoffs like other exotic steels. It was developed specifically as a knife steel.
