I have used the 6 man version many times and live it! What I love:
- it’s free standing, so if you’re on a gravel pad you don’t necessarily need to worry about staking it out.
- you can stand in it
- the vestibule is massive and has a floor tarp that clips into the corners
- it doesn’t have any webbing straps in the doorway unlike many other tents.
- it’s durable as heck. I’ve been using that tent for 10+ years in some pretty extremely windy places and with dogs and cots and whatnot and the only damage was an easily repairable rip near the door to the Vedic Ike where my dog pawed asking to go out.

Only downside is it’s heavy. And with it being so tall it’s probably not quite as warm as other tents but it does have excellent air flow so no damp gear!
