A new standard Duracell battery will last 15 times longer than after being recharge with the Fenix are-c2 charger (I've use it on a small Christmas tree that flashes for a 'cycle' of 6 hours at a time). With a 'GREEN' AA RECHARGEABLE DURACELL you will get 10 x 6 cycles (using the NIMH BATTERY CHARGER AA AAA) About 8 with a 'GREEN' RECHARGEABLE ENERGIZER AA battery). It takes only 3 min +- to completely recharge a used Duracell battery, at the first try, it seems good (but a bit weak), but at the 2nd cycle, it's extremely weak. So for comparison:
New Normal Duracell = 15 cycles
Duracell +Fenix are-c2 = 1 cycle
(3 minutes to full ? recharge)
'Green' rechargeable Duracell = 10 cycles
(9 hours to charge with NIMH BATTERY CHARGER AA AAA)
The time to recharge a 'used' rechargeable AA battery is quite long, you'll probably need 2 chargers if you consume a lot, but the prices of the USEFUL NIMH charger is only 30 CAN$ with taxes compare to 80$ for the WEAK FENIX charger.
